KATHMANDU, Dec 28: Birendra Bahadur Karki, Joint-Secretary at the Legislature-Parliament Secretariat, has been promoted to the post of Secretary.
A meeting of the Legislature-Parliament Management Committee yesterday decided to promote Karki to the post of Secretary that was lying vacant after the retirement of then Secretary Som Bahadur Thapa due to age-limit.
Karki, who originally hails from Deurali of Bhojpur of the eastern Nepal, had joined the parliament services in 2047 BS. RSS
