Pokhara, Nepal : CPN-UML candidates Man Bahadur GC and Manju Gurung have been elected as the mayor and deputy mayor of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan city on Friday.
According to the officials. GC won the elections securing 60423 votes while his Nearest contender Ramji Kunwar garnered 46416 votes.
Likewise, Deputy mayor elect Gurung secured 56448 votes while her closest rival Saraswati Gurung of the Nepali Congress received just 44338 votes.
