Kathmandu, Nepal: the agitating Madhes-based parties have handed over a five-point memorandum to the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal giving 7 days ultimatum to address their demands.
 
The UDMF leaders handed over the memorandum to the Prime Minister Dahal during a meeting held at latter’s official residence, Baluwatar on Wednesday. During the meeting, Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba was also present.
 
In the memorandum, the UDMF leaders have demanded to withdraw the government decision to hold local level elections and endorse the constitution amendment bill with revisions. 
 
Likewise the UDMF leaders have also demanded a probe the incident of police firing in Saptari on Monday, to take action against the perpetrators, to announce the four deceased as martyrs, provide compensation to their families and treatment of the injured people.
