Birgunj, Nepal: The stolen newborn baby from the maternity ward of the Birgunj-based Narayani Sub Regional Hospital has been found on Sunday afternoon.
According to the police the new born baby was found in Belwa-9 of Parsa district. Police had found the baby at the house of Bindeshwar Sah located at Milanchowk of the Belwa.
Though the culprits behind the theft of the baby are not revealed yet, the police have said that it had raided the house of Sha following a tip-off from someone.
The baby, given birth by Asha Paswan, wife of Mukesh Paswan of Bazaartole Chhapkaiya VDC-1 in Birgunj, had given birth to the baby boy at 11:40 am on Friday while nurses were preparing to shift Asha to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from the maternity ward.
