POKHARA: Property worth around Rs 50 million was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at the Hong Kong Bazaar, a popular shopping complex, at Prithvi Chok in Pokhara on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Milan Prasad Tiwari, Proprietor of the Hong Kong Bazaar, the fire that broke out suddenly at the shopping complex destroyed clothes, cosmetic products and electronic products among others of 30 shops.
It has been learned that the fire completely destroyed 23 shops while seven shops were partially damaged.
The fire was doused with the help of locals, personnel from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force Personnel backed by a fire engine after five hours, Tiwari said.RSS
