Kathmandu, Nepal: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Ayodhee Prasado Yadav held discussions regarding the issue of local elections on Monday.
During the meeting held at Prime Minister Dahal’s Baluwatar based official resident, the duo discussed on ranges of issues regarding the preparations of the elections.
It is said that Prime Minister Dahal inquired about the position of the EC to hold local elections on coming May.
Responding to the concerns of the Prime Minister Yadav, CEC Yadav said that about four month period require to make necessary preparations to hold the elections.
