KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) under the Legislature-Parliament on Sunday endorsed the names of recommended Nepal’s envoys to China and India.
A meeting of the Committee held this morning endorsed former Chief Secretary Leela Mani Paudyal as Nepal’s Ambassador to China, and Deep Kumar Upadhyay as the Ambassador to India through majority vote.
The Cabinet meeting on September 1 had recommended them as Nepal’s Ambassadors to these countries.
Similarly, the Committee endorsed Ram Prasad Sitaula as the member of the Judicial Council.RSS
