Kathmandu, Nepal:  Nepali Congress (NC) mayoral candidate Chandra Bahadur Rana has been elected mayor of Madhyabindu Municipality. He has garnered 10,996 votes while his nearest contender CPN-UML mayoral candidate Bhim Lal Adhikari garnered 10,065 votes.
 
Similarly, Nepali Congress’s deputy mayoral candidate Om Kumari Mahato has been elected with 10835 votes. Her rival CPN-UML deputy mayoral candidate Jog Maya Mahato had secured10, 033votes.
