BARA, Dec 13: Police resorted to open four-round of bullets in air after a clash ensued in victory rally of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) at Pacharauta municipality-2 of Bara constituency-2 on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police, Raj Kumar Baidawar, said that the clash took place between Forum cadres and locals when local groups started disrupting the victory rally of the Forum.
Police opened blank fire after the crowd started pelting stone at police personnel, SP Baidawar further said. Four police personnel—one police inspector and three police constables, were injured in the incident.
Police have now brought the situation under control. A squad headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bhuwaneshwor Prasad Saha, has reached the incident site to carry out further investigation into the incident.
