Kathmandu, Nepal, September 7, 2021: The government is going to hold the National Census-2021 from upcoming November 11 to November 25.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar made the decision to this effect.
The cabinet approved the revised date for the national senses at the recommendation of the Central Statistic Department (CSD), the state agency under the Notational Planning Commission (NPC) responsible for the national census.
Earlier, the CSD had made plan to hold the national census from June 22. However, it was postponed due to the spreading threat of COVID-19 epidemic.
