Kathmandu, Nepal, December 8, 2025: The Lumbini-Nepal Mini Marathon is being organized in Thailand during the third week of May 2026, coinciding with Buddha Jayanti 2026.
According to the Embassy of Nepal in Thailand, the Mini Marathon events will cover the distances of ten kilometers and five kilometers. The event is being organized with the aim of publicizing the holy birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, the Embassy of Nepal in Thailand stated on Sunday.
During the interaction program, representatives of Nepal Airlines Corporation, NRNA Thailand National Coordination Council, People of Nepali Origin Association, Thai-Nepal Association, Thai-Nepal Friendship Association, Nepalis working in UN bodies in Thailand, and Nepali entrepreneurs attended the meeting.
