BAITADI: A migrant worker who was returning her home from India killed himself by falling into the Mahakali River in Darchula district of far-western Nepal, police said.
Body of the 28-year-old Gauri Dhanuk was recovered from Uttarakhand of India, DSP Kedar Khanal of the Darchula District Police Office informed.
Dhanuk was working in India and returning to his home in Bhatana-5 of Baitadi on Wednesday, according to police.
Preparations are being made to bring the body to Nepal for final rites.
