Kathmandu, Nepal: At least four people killed and one dozen injured when a passenger bus and a truck coming from the opposite direction collided on head at Mirchaiya-6 of Siraha district along the east-west highway of Siraha district on Thursday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Payal Agrawal- 33 and Bindiya Gurung 30 of Gangtok, Sikkim and Nanu Rai 35 of Rabi-6, Panchthar. Another deceased is said to have breathed his last while receiving treatment at hospital.
The deadly incident had taken place when the bus with registration number Na 5 Kha 4889 en route to Kathmandu from Kakarbhitta collided head-on with the truck with registration number Na 3 Kha 4130 at around 2 am on Thursday.
Among the injured passengers, four persons are reported critical in condition. Injured passengers are rushed to local hospital for treatment.
