Biratnagar, Nepal: At least five persons died and dozens other injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Gadhibhir of Myanglung in Terhathum district on Sunday.
Though the details about the deceased are yet to identified, it is said that three persons had died on the spot while two more had succumbed to injuries at the District Hospital in Myanglung.
The ill-fated bus with registration number Na 4 Kha 2865 skidded of the road and fell some 100 meters down at Gadhibhir of Myanglung. It is guessed the cause behind the accident would have a brake failure of the bus.
Among the 26 injured persons, four are reported as critical in condition. Police have taken into control the bus driver Bam Bahadur Parajuli, 50, for further investigation.
