Kathmandu, Nepal: Finally, a team of Supreme Court(SC) has become success to paste the court summons at chief of CIAA Lokman Singh Karki’s house on Tuesday.
The fourth attempt to SC paste the court summons became succeed on Tuesday. While pasting the court summon, ward secretary Sarita Rai was also present during the process.
CIAA chief Karki now has to appear by himself or sent his representative before the court within 15 days.
Supreme Court summoned Karki responding to the writ petition filed by advocate Om Prakash Aryal. He had filed a case at the SC challenging to the Karki’s appointment.
It was claimed in the court that the appointment was unlawful as his tenure in government service “falls short of what has been provisioned in the constitution and he does not hold high moral character to lead the CIAA”.
