Gorkha, Nepal: Naya Shakti Party Nepal coordinator Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai has been elected as the member of the Federal Parliament from Gorkha constituency number-2.
Bhattrai, who is also the former Prime Minister and leader of the CPN Maoist Center elected by defeating his former colleague Narayan Kaji Shrestha from CPN (Maoist Center) by 6874
According to the reports, Bhattarai has secured 32,807 votes while his contender Shrestha has secured just 24,933.
