Jajarkot, Nepal: CPN-UML’s candidate Lal Bahadur Mahatara has been elected as mayor of Chhedagad Municipality. 
 
He won the elections by securing 5, 1 36 votes while his rival Nepali Congress’s candidate Ratna Bahadur  Khadka secured 4, 347 votes.
 
Likewise, Deputy mayoral candidate of the UML party Sarita Oli has been elected with 5, 147 votes.  Her nearest contender Reshma Sahi of Nepali Congress as secured 4, 260 votes.
