Kathmandu, Nepal: The government has formed a four-member committee to investigate the Fishtail Air chopper crash. The committee has to submit report within three months.
The committee comprises Nepal Army (NA) Lieutenant Colonel Subas Thapa, who is also the helicopter pilot in the Army, Director of Engineering Department of Simrik Air, Bishnu Basnyat and former Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Hari Bhakta Shrestha.
Likewise, Joint-secretary at the Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation, Suresh Acharya has been named as a member-secretary of the committee.
Seven persons including four of a family had killed in the crash on Monday.
